Will Ferrell rose to fame as a part of the cast of 'Saturday Night Live,' before starring in such big-screen comedy films as 'Elf"Anchorman," and 'Talladega Nights.' In 1967, in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell began his career in comedy while an actor with the Los Angeles-based improv group the Groundlings.
